Lost hope

It is said I will find her in God… hope. They say she nestles in the bosom of the Lord alongside salvation and forgiveness. She is not lost.

I mustn’t pay to find her through clairvoyance or paganism. I will only be led in circles. Seek the straight edged trinity.

She doesn’t yearn for attention. She has absconded many believers and atheists alike. For them she is a distant relative who doesn’t wish to be found… yearns on solitude.

Years ago I lost track of hope. When confused about the meaning of life and the world I blinked and she began to disappear. Fading, waning from sight and I let her go.

Because she is missing my purpose in life is in remission.

So now I want hope back.
