Smoke & Mirrors

Sharp mouth so I smoke blunts to soften the blow and ascend from a low to a high.

That way I won’t have to watch what I say because the loud is so strong,

I’m no longer weighed down by what’s right and what’s wrong.

I can speak about what I please and be free, free from anxiety.

3 forms in which I be – happy, sad, content – the third is an emotion well spent, on which I’m hell-bent will lead me into a life of mediocrity.

It’s a destination I don’t want to see.

So I’ll let this smoke cloud my thoughts and bring me to my epiphany.
